PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA, March 19, 2015 — Following successful initial market testing, WebSystem3® announced today at Vision Expo East that its LensFerry® service is ready for more widespread use. It is now available to select optometry practices in New York and California. CooperVision Acquires WebSystem3, to Offer ECPs Automated Patient Communications

PLEASANTON, Calif.— CooperVision, Inc., a unit of The Cooper Cos. (NYSE:COO), has acquired WebSystem3, the Folsom, Calif.-based web-based software company that automates patient communications.

CooperVision issued a statement today which indicated that WebSystem3 became a CooperVision company in December 2012. No further details were provided.
